Description of problem:
connection to internet but can not actually receive any data not even 
webstites email etc

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible:
connect using ppp and 56k modem open browser or email client

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start ppp
2.start a web program "IE" web browser email client
3.try and browse or recieve emails
  
Actual results:
nothing at all happens "NO DATA"

Expected results:
should show website or retrieve email's

Are you sure that your nameservers are correct?

have double checked all my settings again and yes they are all 
correct.

Fedora Core 2 is now maintained by the Fedora Legacy project for
security updates only. If this problem is a security issue, please
reopen and reassign to the Fedora Legacy product. If it is not a
security issue and hasn't been resolved in the current FC3 updates or
in the FC4 test release, reopen and change the version to match.

Closed per above message and lack of response.  Note that FC2 is not even
supported by Fedora Legacy currently.
