This message is a reminder that Fedora 23 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 23. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '23'. Description of problem: When rebuilding the speexdsp SRPM on EL7, the build fails because /usr/share/doc/speexdsp/manual.pdf is unpackaged. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.2-0.7.rc3 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install speexdsp-1.2-0.7.rc3.fc23.src.rpm on EL7 2. Try to rpmbuild --rebuild it 3. Actual results: Fails because it finds /usr/share/doc/speexdsp/manual.pdf unpackaged. Expected results: Should build cleanly. Additional info: Looking at the Makefile in doc seems to confirm that the actual behaviour is expected. install-docDATA is the Makefile target that installs manual.pdf. It installs it into $(DESTDIR)$(docdir). We can see that docdir = ${datarootdir}/doc/${PACKAGE_TARNAME} and that PACKAGE_TARNAME = speexdsp so thus it the action will install manual.pdf into /usr/share/doc/speexdsp but that file is not packaged in the speexdsp.spec file.
