What version of anaconda is this? As of RHEL 7.2 (anaconda-21.48.8 onwards), anaconda does take the display resolution into account, using the same heuristics that GNOME does. A display with a height of 1200 pixels or greater and with a dpi greater than 192 will be scaled so that everything appears twice as large in the graphical installer. Can you also attach /tmp/X.log and /tmp/anaconda.log from the installation environment? Are there any particular problems with using a touch screen other than the resolution? I used the latest iso available at the time of making this ticket. It turned out that gnome was taking the screen size and resolution in to account. I have since this installed an alternative distribution and don't have time for testing this further atm. |
