Shveta, can you reproduce the issue and post the relevant part of the evm and automation logs? I can't seem to reproduce the issue in both places. The logs should give us a clearer picture of what's going on and what is causing the issue. Thanks! See request in comment #12 Not able to reproduce the issue again. Verified in 5.6.0.4-beta2.3.20160421172650_719e256 Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory, and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2016:1348 |
Created attachment 1140348 [details] picture of the dialogs side by side Description of problem: New Self_service ui does not support dynamic drop downs which populate values from automate Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 5.5.2.4.20160127105142_395c086 How reproducible: create the ootb azure-single-vm-from-user-image dialog pointing to the azure-single-vm-from-user-image orchestration template. No values get populated into the drop-downs in the new self service ui. The old view works perfectly. Steps to Reproduce: 1.create the ootb azure-single-vm-from-user-image dialog pointing to the azure-single-vm-from-user-image orchestration template 2.check in the old view (everything works) 3.check in the self_service ui (nothing works) Actual results: No dropdowns are populated in the self_service ui Expected results: Dropdowns with dynamic values via automate methods should work! Additional info: I can demo it if you would like to see it live.
