It works fine on RHEL7. On rhel6 it is looking for /usr/bin/dbus-send which it doesn't find , On RHEL6 the path is /bin/dbus-send . This bug was accidentally moved from POST to MODIFIED via an error in automation, please see mmccune with any questions Since this issue has been resolved with latest glusterfs and ganesha builds and its working as expected, marking this bug as Verified. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. Description of problem: While installing glusterfs-ganesha-3.7.9-1.el6rhs.x86_64 on Rhel6 based rhgs machines it fails with dependency error on usr/bin/dbus-send as usr/bin/dbus-send is not available in RHEL6 Base channel, RHGS channel Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): glusterfs-3.7.9-1.el7rhgs.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. yum install glusterfs-ganesha-3.7.9-1.el6rhs.x86_64 2. 3. Actual results: Error: Package: glusterfs-ganesha-3.7.9-1.el6rhs.x86_64 (/glusterfs-ganesha-3.7.9-1.el6rhs.x86_64) Requires: /usr/bin/dbus-send Expected results: glusterfs-ganesha-3.7.9-1.el6rhs.x86_64 should get installed successfully.
