Description Dan Yocum 2016-03-29 15:50:42 UTC
Description of problem:

Sometimes a user will screw up a yaml file. This gives unclear errors like the following:

Deploying templates in the directory /var/lib/stack/templates
ERROR: openstack while scanning a simple key
  in "<byte string>", line 3, column 1
could not find expected ':'
  in "<byte string>", line 4, column 1

Please add something to the troubleshooting section suggesting that the operator install yaml-lint to check their yaml files.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

7.3

Hi Dan,

This is something that might not be possible since yamllint isn't available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. The yamllint package seems to be Fedora only at the moment.

Closing this bug as CANTFIX due to missing yamllint package for RHEL 7
