Description Todd 2016-03-30 17:43:48 UTC
Dear Fedora,

Would one of our interepid heroes please fix this for me?

FC23 installed from Fedora-Live-Xfce-x86_64-23-10.iso
Xfce 4.12

$ rpm -qa \*screen\*
xscreensaver-gl-base-5.34-1.fc23.x86_64
xscreensaver-gl-extras-5.34-1.fc23.x86_64
xfce4-screenshooter-plugin-1.8.2-5.fc23.x86_64
xscreensaver-extras-base-5.34-1.fc23.x86_64
xfce4-screenshooter-1.8.2-5.fc23.x86_64
xscreensaver-base-5.34-1.fc23.x86_64
Xscreensaver-extras-5.34-1.fc23.x86_64

When running xscreensaver with GLSideshow, the second and subsequent times I recover from screen saver, my screen does not repaint. It is all black. Everything is still there, just click on it with the mouse and the item you hit will repaint. Mouse across the task bar repaints those items too. Once repainted, they stay repainted.

This symptom does not replicate with Bounding Cows.

Many thanks,
-T

Oh you know what? A bunch of updates came through DNF and now the symptom is gone. Thank you!

I will reopen if it comes back

By the way, Bouncing Cows did it too, but took about 20 shots to reproduce.
