Created attachment 1142377 [details]
Software uses "blank" icon and is labeled "gnome-software"

Description of problem:
Software is not using it's proper icon on the dash and the shell, instead it is using a "blank" icon which I assume is used when one isn't found. It also is labeled "gnome-software" in dash and shell.

In Applications list it shows correctly.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora 24
Gnome 3.20

How reproducible:
Allways

Additional info:
Take note that I'm running Gnome with Wayland.

Attached a screenshot of it.

How did you launch gnome-software to see that? Thanks.

Comment 2 Eduardo Silva 2016-04-01 18:27:26 UTC
The problem was appearing on the first boot of a newly installed F24. Strangely enough, today I booted up the system, and it's showing correctly. Closing, and if it ever happens again, I'll re-open the bug.
