Hello Daiki, Do you need any help adding Python 3 support to the RPM? If you need more instructions, a [guide] for porting Python-based RPMs is available. [guide] http://python-rpm-porting.readthedocs.org/en/latest/index.html Sorry for the delay. Yes, I would be grateful if you could help here. The Python binding is generated using SWIG, and I couldn't figure out how to migrate the spec file. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 25 development cycle. Changing version to '25'. Created attachment 1219728 [details] Patch to provide Python 3 language binding for marisa Hello Jan, Please find the change needed to add Python 3 support attached. Could you please review it and do the update? Koji scratch build: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=16401405 Created attachment 1219731 [details] Patch to rename language bindings to conform to Packaging guidelines I would also like to point your attention to the fact, that the naming scheme for marisa language bindings does not conform to the Packaging guidelines [0]. When the addon package is a language binding, the language itself is always the parent, thus the names should be <language>-marisa. I would suggest to rename the language bindings and I have prepared a patch that you might use. Please note that if you decide to apply it, it should go through the Package Renaming Process [1] and a review of Obsoletes and Provides is required. In reply to my previous comment, you do not have to go through the Package Renaming Process for subpackages. So please just do a review and apply the patch. I will have a look at it later, as I remember marisa-python is used in BuildRequires of my other package (which I don't have time to work on at the moment). Thanks for working on that anyway. Hi Daiki, thank you for taking your time to apply the patch. |
