Description Corey Marthaler 2004-09-10 21:55:30 UTC
Description of problem:
I saw these again today when running ccsd IPv4 and attempting to join
a cluster:

Sep 10 15:19:42 morph-01 ccsd[3674]: Error while processing connect:
Connection refused

It gets outputed about 15-20 times and then finally succeeds and the
cluster joins and is happy.

I wasn't able to reproduce the errors with IPv6, but was hardly able
to reproduce with IPv4 so I'm not sure IPv6 isn't included with this.

How reproducible:
Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. ccsd -4 on all nodes
2. cman_tool join on all nodes

Comment 1 Jonathan Earl Brassow 2004-09-14 19:05:39 UTC
What is receiving the connection failure? The server is denying
access, but to whom? cman_tool? If so, are the cman_tools failing
when this happens?

Comment 2 Corey Marthaler 2004-09-14 19:20:18 UTC
I have to assume that it's cman_tool as it appeared to be stuck
during the connection errors and then finishs up finally when the
connection works. All the nodes do end up joining evenually once the
errors stop.

Comment 3 Jonathan Earl Brassow 2004-09-15 17:31:26 UTC
cman_tool would die if it got such a connect error....

Please advise if you see again.

Updates with the proper version and component name.

Comment 5 Kiersten (Kerri) Anderson 2004-11-04 15:15:48 UTC
Updates with the proper version and component name.

Comment 6 Kiersten (Kerri) Anderson 2004-11-04 15:20:35 UTC
Updates with the proper version and component name. Again, just love out tools.

Comment 7 Corey Marthaler 2005-01-04 18:41:56 UTC
I wasn't able to reproduce.
