Similar problem has been detected: I opened the attached PDF file with inkscape, marked "import via Poppler" in the PDF Import Settings dialog and clicked "OK". I've just retested on Fedora 25 and the poppler import works - what doesn't work is the 'native' import, it seems to enter infinite loop (I'm waiting for about 5 minutes now), but that is another issue Dominik, please could you re-test with your file so this bug can be closed properly? - I don't like EOLed ones :-) I can't find the file anymore. I don't even remember what it was (and why I wrote it was sensitive), so just close this.
