Camera support problems should be reported upstream |
Created attachment 1143049 [details] Darktable's GUI Description of problem: I can't import files directly from my Canon Ixus 125 HS, attached via USB. Darktable says that there are "No supported devices". This is not a big issue, because I can navigate through the filesystem and pick the images I need. However, I recall that previous versions (at least 1.6.3, which I tested some time ago) recognized my camera. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): darktable-2.0.3-1.fc24.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Attach a digital camera via USB. 2.Open Darktable. Actual results: 1.Darktable says that there are "No supported devices". Expected results: 1.Ideally, Darktable should find the attached camera. Additional info: I'm testing with qemu-kvm, but this shouldn't be a problem, since the kernel and Nautilus mount the camera, as it happens with the host system.
