The version of syslinux used on F23 needs newer modules, which aren't available from sl7.2 I am using modules from Nux's repo. Which ones are you looking for so I can send you their revisions? F23 uses syslinux 6 which is considerably different than the one in RHEL7. This is more fallout from trying to use older releases to make USB sticks with newer Fedora releases. I will have access to a FC23 machine later on in the week. I will recut and get back Confirmed. This is does work when cut from FC23. This means that the issue is that we need a version of livecd-tools that is compatible with RHEL 7. I put the bug in the wrong place. Would you mind switching this to the appropriate "product"? Many thanks, -T That's not going to happen, and as I've stated multiple times before livecd-iso-to-disk isn't expected to work across all releases. If you want to make f23 live usb with overlay, etc. use the livecd-iso-to-disk from a F23 system. The only generic way of writing USB sticks that works consistently from other releases is to dd the iso image to the USB. |
