Description renju 2016-04-05 05:18:48 UTC
Description of problem: virt-builder: index is corrupt

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): libguestfs-test-tool 1.24.5

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. virt-builder --list

Actual results:
virt-builder: index is corrupt: os-version 'debian-7' appears two or more times

The index file downloaded from 'http://libguestfs.org/download/builder/index.asc' is corrupt.
You need to ask the supplier of this file to fix it and upload a fixed version.

Expected results: A list of operating systems available to install

Additional info:
Same error obtained for all the virt-builder commands

Comment 1 Richard W.M. Jones 2016-04-05 08:06:40 UTC
You need to upgrade virt-builder to a non ancient version.

Ubuntu is shipping a version which is both out of date, AND
has security issues. We have told them about this ad nauseam.
