Description Igor Netkachev 2016-04-05 13:16:48 UTC
Description of problem:
Currently existing storage domains are ssorted alphabetically in 'Storage Domain' dropdown menu in 'Create New Disk' dialog window in RHEV-M. This causes problems for the customer and he wants to be able to arrange existing Storage Domains by free disk space in that dropdown list so that the Storage Domain with more free disk space is on the top of the list and selected by default.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
any RHEv-M version

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. login to RHEV-M
2. go to 'Disks' tab -> click 'New' button
3. check 'Disk Profile' dropdown list, it is always sorted alphabetically (provided that you have 2+ Storage Domains in the datacenter)

Actual results:
'Disk Profile' dropdown list is always sorted alphabetically (provided that you have 2+ Storage Domains in the datacenter)

Expected results:
ability to sort 'Disk Profile' dropdown list by free disk space on SD, select the one with more free space by default.

Note that in 4.x, clicking on the storage donut in the dashboard provides you with 'Top Utilized Resources (Storage)' graphs. Not exactly what is requested, but does provide some of it.
