Description Eyal Edri 2016-04-06 12:35:21 UTC
Description of problem:
We would like to start testing RHEVM for 4.0, but we are missing a few packages that might take some time to build or might be removed, we can't afford to wait until either happens as we have to start testing engine install downstream.

this bug is a reminder to remove the patch once we have a final decision.

Seems like redhat-support-plugin-rhev is built, can be restored to deps?

Comment 5 Eyal Edri 2016-04-12 07:47:30 UTC
sent a new patch to restore it.
although, maybe worth building support plugin with 4.0 version rather than 3.6.0, but we can do it later since it doesn't affect the install.

Comment 6 Eyal Edri 2016-04-18 07:20:35 UTC
rhev-guest-tools-iso was built, restoring its requirement as well to the spec.

Comment 7 Eyal Edri 2016-05-08 14:50:46 UTC
open issues:

1. spice pkg isn't built yet
2. rhevm-doc wasn't built for el7, but tagged for el7 (i.e you can install the el6 pkg with a workaround to put the el6 pkg in the el7 repo).

Comment 8 Jiri Belka 2016-05-31 07:31:31 UTC
ok

[root@jb-rhevm40 ~]# rpm -qa rhev-guest-tools-iso\* redhat-support-plugin-rhev\*
redhat-support-plugin-rhev-3.6.0-16.el7ev.noarch
rhev-guest-tools-iso-4.0-1.el7ev.noarch
[root@jb-rhevm40 ~]# rpm -qR rhevm | grep support
redhat-support-plugin-rhev >= 3.6.0
[root@jb-rhevm40 ~]# rpm -q rhevm
rhevm-4.0.0-0.7.master.el7ev.noarch
