One of of the things that jumped out immediately was the messaging in the bug around not being able to find the ironic/nova node. We are attempting to reproduce this a bit, but there are really 2 potential issues that we need to understand. Issue 1 is that at least one of the nodes did not get removed properly/completely during the original ceph tear down, or 2 -- the new replacement node was not registered/discovered properly.
