Description cbarnes 1999-02-25 13:16:42 UTC
I ftp'd a package up to my linux machine under a normal
username and password. After installing the package, I
realized that the rpm file owner was not root. I attempted
to chmod the package but was confronted with a seg fault.
After finding this problem I repeated the process on a
different machine with a new install of redhat 5.2 and
found the same problem. I don't think it is serious but
you may want to look into it.
