Description Felipe Alfaro Solana 2004-09-14 09:26:27 UTC
Description of problem:
"/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit", which belongs to initscripts-7.80-1, invokes "nash" during startup.
However, the initscripts package misses "nash" as a requisite. Thus, you can execute "rpm
-e nash". Then, during boot, the system will generate the following error message:

/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit: line 221: nash: command not found

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
initscripts-7.80-1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. rpm -Uvh initscripts-7.80-1
2. rpm -e nash
3. reboot

Actual results:
An error message is shown during boot.

Expected results:
The "initscripts-7.80-1" package should list "nash" as a requisite.

Actually, you'd have to remove mkinitrd, which would require jumping
through some hurdles. :)

Added in CVS, will be in 7.82-1.
