Description Eric Jones 2016-04-08 14:04:59 UTC
Description of problem:
Heapster, hawkular, and cassandra pods are all stable, not pushing error messages, and yet when they try to access the metrics for any pods they receive the following error:
Error fetching memory/usage for container wordpress-mysql. Status code 12029

And when they viewed the console for the web page they found an additional error message:
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_INSECURE_RESPONSE

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
OpenShift Enterprise 3.1.1

Comment 2 Matt Wringe 2016-04-08 14:40:32 UTC
Where exactly is this error coming from:
"Error fetching memory/usage for container wordpress-mysql. Status code 12029"

What are the deployment options used (eg secrets and template parameters).

Are they able to directly access the Hawkular Metrics service from the browser? This should correspond to the metricsPublicURL value specified in the master-config.yaml file, and should look like:
https://${HAWKULAR_METRICS_HOSTNAME}/hawkular/metrics
