Description Niels de Vos 2016-04-12 08:25:09 UTC
The GlusterFS protocols are based on ONC/SUNRPC and are very similar to NFS. Gluster can benefit from stronge authentication and even encryption on a per user base.

NFS can use GSSAPI (Generic Security Services API), we would like to see this in the GlusterFS protocols as well.

This didnt make it for GlusterFS 3.8, moving out of the tracking tree.

Lot of time since no activity on this bug. We have either fixed it already or it is mostly not critical anymore!

Please re-open the bug if the issue is burning for you, or you want to take the bug to closure with fixes.
