Fixed by commit b2bff0666101213d5ce9fc4166d8fc5b17581f57 in upstream tree. Fedora package will be updated ASAP. This message is a reminder that Fedora 23 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 23. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '23'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Description of problem: Starting a program in script, then hitting Enter makes the script program loop in poll([{fd=4, events=POLLIN}], 1, 10) = 1 ([{fd=4, revents=POLLIN}]) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): util-linux-2.27.1-2.fc23.x86_64 How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. run: script /tmp/blah 2. A shell is started, in the shell start: sleep 100 3. Do not wait until sleep 100 is finished, but type Enter, probably 2 times Actual results: the Script program hangs and loops (s.a.) hogging 1 entire CPU Expected results: New lines are opened like in a shell without the script program Additional info: Is this agile development ?
