Description Hui Wang 2016-04-18 06:40:38 UTC
Description of problem:
When users update the component of a bug via "edit" in buglist, the users have to input the associated roles(Assigned To, QA, Doc contact) to the new component. It's no other approach to set the associated roles to default roles of the new component. So would you like to provide an approach to update the associated roles to the default roles of the new component quickly, like in the "Reset" roles in show_bug page?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
5.0.2-rh4

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to advance page, input the conditions to do a search
2. In the buglist page to edit one bug
3. change the component

Actual results:
The user has to input the associated roles to the new component. It's no other approach to set the associated roles to default roles of the new component.

Expected results:
The user can update the component associated roles quickly

Test env:
https://bz-web.host.qe.eng.pek2.redhat.com/

Steps to verify:
1. Do advanced search to find some bugs.
e.g. /buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&classification=Red Hat&list_id=10168974&product=Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8&query_format=advanced

2.Choose one bug and remove the component, then check the changes for
Assignee, QA Contact and Docs Contact
Result: there are 3 reset selected checkbox for Assignee, QA Contact and Docs Contact,
Reset Assignee to default
Reset QA Contact to default
Reset docs Contact to default for component

Test result: PASS
