Description Petr Pisar 2016-04-21 07:25:50 UTC
perl-ExtUtils-AutoInstall-0.63-30.fc25 fails to build in F25 because tests fail:

+ make test
PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 "/usr/bin/perl" "-MExtUtils::Command::MM" "-MTest::Harness" "-e" "undef *Test::Harness::Switches; test_harness(0, 'inc', 'blib/lib', 'blib/arch')" t/1-basic.t
Bareword "Symbol::gensym" not allowed while "strict subs" in use at t/1-basic.t line 25.
Execution of t/1-basic.t aborted due to compilation errors.
t/1-basic.t ..
Dubious, test returned 255 (wstat 65280, 0xff00)
Failed 6/6 subtests

Difference between working and failing build root is:

        perl-ExtUtils-MakeMaker 	7.10-5.fc25 	> 	7.12-1.fc25
	perl-ExtUtils-Command 	7.10-5.fc25 	> 	7.12-1.fc25
	perl-ExtUtils-MM-Utils 	7.10-5.fc25 	> 	7.12-1.fc25
	fedora-release 	25-0.7 	> 	25-0.8

Petr, do you think, filing a bug one day, and then patching it the day after is fair play? I don't. Fedora is not a RH colony, but you are treating Fedora perl as such.

I think its time to file a formal complaint against you with your boss at RH and RH to take disciplinary measures against you.
