Description Wei Huang (AMD) 2016-04-25 18:39:03 UTC
VHE support is an important feature introduced in ARM v8.1 and will be supported in RHELSA 7.3. We backport all VHE features from 4.6, -rc1, -rc2 to RHELSA (see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1260100). Because VHE is a new feature, we are still seeing new VHE patches submitted to upstream kernel. To make backport easier, we decided create this BZ to keep track the rest of VHE patches:

* BZ1260100: introduces basic VHE support and patches
* This BZ: any subsequent VHE related patches will be tracked by this BZ.

I think we should disable VHE for 7.3, and for 7.4 we'll pick up all patches we need for a fully functioning re-enablement. So closing this bug, as it's no longer necessary.
