Description Bernie Hoefer 2016-04-26 23:17:25 UTC
RHEL7's anaconda boot parameter "asknetwork" is deprecated. Due to this, those people who have experience installing RHEL5 or RHEL6 guests from remote media on a DHCP-less network are bewildered why a RHEL7 guest fails to install. (See <https://access.redhat.com/solutions/511263> for the answer.)

A user that has experienced this problem would like to see Chapter 3.3.2 of the _Virtualization Deployment And Administration Guide_ changed to include a warning. The reader should know that -- unlike RHEL5 & RHEL6 that presented users with a "Configure TCP/IP" window if a network connection is needed for the install media but that connection is not already configured -- the RHEL7 install will just error out.
