Unfortunately depends on oniguruma, which isn't in EPEL 6. *** Bug 1395749 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Oniguruma is in base EL6. Please proceed with updating EPEL6's jq to the latest version. I would like to use the "join" function as well. I just requested permission in pkgdb, if you add me I'll build the package for EPEL 6. pkgdb is dead (in read-only mode). You will probably need to request access in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/jq Or maybe you can fork it and send a pull request as documented in https://docs.pagure.org/pagure/index.html A pull request doesn't make any sense. I just desire the master branch to be merged into the el6 branch, and then a build+update submitted. This message is a reminder that EPEL 6 is nearing its end of life. Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for EPEL 6 on 2020-11-30. It is our policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a 'version' of 'el6'.
