Description Mat Booth 2016-04-27 22:45:25 UTC
Description of problem:
Package eclipse-vrapper fails to build from source in rawhide.

This package still uses the old "eclipse-pdebuild" method of building Eclipse plug-ins. This is no longer supported with the introduction of Eclipse Neon into Fedora.

Please migrate this package to the more modern maven/tycho build system (I can help you with this) or consider retiring the package if you can no longer maintain it.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.22.0-6.fc24

Steps to Reproduce:
koji build --scratch f25 eclipse-vrapper-0.22.0-6.fc24.src.rpm

Additional info:
This package is tracked by Koschei. See:
https://apps.fedoraproject.org/koschei/package/eclipse-vrapper

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 25 development cycle.
Changing version to '25'.

Comment 2 Mat Booth 2017-05-08 09:54:13 UTC
Hi Jesse,

This package continues to not build and no longer works with current Eclipse -- it is slowly beginning to accumulate bug reports:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?component=eclipse-vrapper&list_id=7345241&product=Fedora

Please retire or orphan it so it may be picked up by someone else.
