Assigning to Tahlia for review. There's also a check box called Using SCSI Reservation that un-greys when Allow Privileged SCSI I/O is selected, but which I cannot select. Confirmed regarding 'Enable SCSI Pass-Through' functionality. However, I don't see 'Using SCSI Reservation' that, as mentioned in comment #2 by Tahlia, is un-greys when enabling SCSI Pass-Through and selection 'Allow Privileged SCSI I/O'. 'Using SCSI Reservation' enables admin mark whether SCSI reservation is used when creating Direct Lun. When migrating a VM, if SCSI reservation is marked, operation fails. See BZ 1159420. (In reply to Ala Hino from comment #5) > Confirmed regarding 'Enable SCSI Pass-Through' functionality. However, I > don't see 'Using SCSI Reservation' that, as mentioned in comment #2 by > Tahlia, is un-greys when enabling SCSI Pass-Through and selection 'Allow > Privileged SCSI I/O'. > > 'Using SCSI Reservation' enables admin mark whether SCSI reservation is used > when > creating Direct Lun. When migrating a VM, if SCSI reservation is marked, > operation fails. See BZ 1159420. I didn't document Using SCSI Reservation because, although it ungreyed when I clicked Allow Privileged SCSI I/O, it stayed unticked when I clicked it. Is there anything else that needs to be set to allow me to tick that check box? Make sure the disk interface is VirtIO-SCSI (In reply to Ala Hino from comment #7) > (In reply to Tahlia Richardson from comment #6) > > (In reply to Ala Hino from comment #5) > > > Confirmed regarding 'Enable SCSI Pass-Through' functionality. Using SCSI Reservation is ungreyed, but nothing happens when I click on it; no tick appears. Is there something else I'm missing?
