Description Peter Nordquist 2016-04-28 17:13:07 UTC
Description of problem:
This commit https://github.com/openstack/ceilometer/commit/d12d60da15882f9a485e36df1361239cac37bf16 Ceilometer needs a newer version of the jsonpath-rw-ext library than is provided by the current released version of RDO. If I attempt to use the latest event_definitions.yaml file it errors out when starting the openstack-ceilometer-notification service since the parser does not understand the newer split function. The workaround is to revert the change and use the older way of specifying this split function. The openstack-ceilometer-notification service then warns about using the older way of specifying this function call.

This bug is against a Version which has reached End of Life.
If it's still present in supported release (http://releases.openstack.org), please update Version and reopen.

Your version selector for RDO does not have Mitaka in it. Is Mitaka End of Life? Plus I can't update the target release field, somehow it set it to Kilo when I switched from Red Hat OpenStack to RDO.
