Description mlessard 2016-04-28 17:35:36 UTC
Description of problem:
If we try to access the certificate menu in the Satellite ui (Infrastructure -> Capsules -> Certificates) on a computer where Satellite can't resolve the name of this computer, we are getting an error.

How reproducible:
Every time we try to access the certificates menu in the Satellite 6 webui from a client that Satellite can resolve the name (saw this behaviour from a Windows 7 computer)

Expected results:
We should be able to access the webui and all its components even if Satellite can't resolve the name of the workstation where the request comes from.

Additional info:
The workaround is to put the ip and the name of the client in the /etc/hosts of Satellite 6 server.

Thank you for your interest in Satellite 6. We have evaluated this request, and we do not expect this to be implemented in the product in the forseeable future. We are therefore closing this out as WONTFIX. If you have any concerns about this, please feel free to contact Rich Jerrido or Bryan Kearney. Thank you.
