Description Andre Klapper 2016-04-30 18:09:15 UTC
Description of problem:
Since kernel-4.5.2-302.fc24.i686 on F24 I get "ideapad_laptop: timeout in read_ec_cmd" and "timeout in write_ec_cmd" when booting my Lenovo S10-3t. Hence WiFi and Bluetooth do not work anymore.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-4.5.2-302.fc24.i686

How reproducible:
Always (3 out of 3) since updating to kernel-4.5.2-302 from -301

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot and check the output.

Actual results:
Output:
  kernel: ideapad_laptop: timeout in read_ec_cmd
  kernel: ideapad_laptop: timeout in write_ec_cmd
and not able to activate WiFi and Bluetooth in GNOME.

Expected results:
No such output; being able to activate WiFi and Bluetooth.

Unplugged, removed battery, held power button for a while, add battery, boot, plug, load default settings in bios, save + exit. That worked. shrug. NOTABUG.
