Previously, if more than one upgrade path was present in the /usr/share/preupgrade/ directory, the "preupg --list-contents-set" command did not list any upgrade path. With this update, the Preupgrade Assistant properly lists all upgrade paths as expected.

This is fixed by upstream commit https://github.com/upgrades-migrations/preupgrade-assistant/commit/ebb87ca8317ffc182ef87dc054736c9e6dfda40e Thanks for clarification.
As of preupgrade-assistant-2.1.9-5.el6:
# cp -r /usr/share/preupgrade/RHEL6_{7,8}
# preupg --list-contents-set
RHEL6_7
RHEL6_8
#
IOW, issue is fixed.

Description of problem ====================== `--list-contents-set` is useless: uf more than one upgrade path is present, it will not list anything (it will only *say* there are more). # preupg --list-contents-set Preupgrade assistant detects more then 1 set of contents in directory/usr/share/preupgrade. If you would like to use this tool, you have to specify correct upgrade path parameter like -s RHEL6_7. # Version-Release number of selected component ============================================ preupgrade-assistant-2.1.6-5.el6 How reproducible ================ Always Steps to Reproduce ================== 1. Put an upgrade path in /usr/preupg/ (eg. make copy of existing one,) but mind that naming must be `FOO<M>_<N>` 2. `preupg --list-contents-set` 3. observe list of upgrade paths Actual results ============== There is none. Expected results ================ There should be two upgrade paths.
