Comment 21 René Genz 2016-06-18 09:24:06 UTC
Similar problem has been detected:

- I used only keyboard for navigation all the time, mouse is not attached to computer
- start installation of F24 from USB thumb drive
- use GUI mode for installation
- use tab key to navigate to 'date and time' spoke and press enter to open it
- use tab key to navigate to continent input box; it shows 'America' as default, this does not fit my location
- start typing 'Eur'; 'Europe' will be auto-completed in display
- press enter to accept; crash occurs

I am not sure, if the last step involved the tab key to switch to the 'city' text input box or not.

Most important part seems to be:
not use a mouse to select 'Europe' in drop-down box but type and use auto-completion of text.
