Description of problem:
When I try to compile any file, gcc prints the message

    gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1plus': No such file or
directory

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gcc 3.3.3-7.i386

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install gcc
2. create a c++ file, e.g., main.c++.
3. gcc main.c++
    

Actual Results:  the following message is printed and the execution
terminates

    gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1plus': No such file or
directory

Expected Results:  No message, a file named a.out should have been
created.

Additional info:

The bug occurs even if the file to be compiled is empty.
The message is independent of the file to be compiled.

If you are trying to compile C++ programs, you need to have gcc-c++ package
installed.
