at least for the Fedora-Server-netinst-ppc64le-24_Beta-1.3.iso these files are missing
> /images/netboot/TRANS.TBL
> /images/netboot/ppc64.img
and same for the full iso
i make a check of the grub modules in 1.3. It seems there'are a lot of changes in boot/grub/powerpc-ieee1275 i'm not sure if it could be a cause for this issue. i will attach the diff beta 1.2 and 1.3 in next comment Created attachment 1156129 [details]
diff beta 1.2 and 1.3
reassign to correct component rebuild the same grub2 version in f23 buildroot fixes this issue grub2-2.02-0.33.fc24 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 24. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-c4d43baacc i tested the grub2-2.02-0.33.fc24.dh.1 with dan's fix and confirmed the fix. no boot issue anymore after update and call grub2-install grub2-2.02-0.33.fc24 has been pushed to the Fedora 24 testing repository.
