Description of problem:
The nfs-utils package includes a unit file for starting rpc.svcgssd, but doesn't include the daemon or its man page.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug

Steve Dickson disabled support for the building of ggsd by default in this commit

The recommendation is to use gssproxy instead.

If you do if you can have a read over https://bugzilla.redhat.com/page.cgi?id=bug-writing.html and request one specific issue you would like to be addressed and exactly what your expectation from the bug is.

e.g. If the request is to have the default reverted e.g. a package feature request

That would be more suitable on the package maintainers wish list which you can find

The Fedora package includes a .service file which provides systemd with information about starting a binary which is no longer in the package.  My expectation was that either the .service file would be removed from the Fedora package, or the daemon would be re-added.

Nalin,

Thank you for the clarification. 

As upstream is defaulting to not build svcgssd by default and promote the use of gssproxy it's best to request the removal of the service file or get more clarification from Steve why it's been left there.

UPDATE: Request for svcgssd service file to be removed from nfs-utils package.
