Description Brent Fox 2004-09-24 15:56:11 UTC
I'm doing an everything CD install with FC3 test 2. After installing
disc 1, the installer asked for disc 2. I accidentally installed disc
3 and clicked OK. A dialog informed me that this was the wrong cd,
but now I'm unable to eject the disc.

Hitting the eject button on the drive does nothing. Going to VC2 and
running 'eject' says, "eject: unable to find or open device for: 'cdrom'"

I seem to be stuck.

Comment 1 Brent Fox 2004-09-24 18:13:54 UTC
Well, after cliking the OK button of the dialog, then I can eject the
CD. Strange.

Comment 2 Jeremy Katz 2004-09-24 21:14:06 UTC
Yes, you have to click ok and then it will eject it for you and ask
for the right disc. It's been this way for a while. One of these
days, that section of code is going to be rewritten, but not now. The
last time I tried broke it worse than it's current quirks.
