Description Mike Kinney 2004-09-24 20:17:11 UTC
Description of problem:
Certance LTO Ultrium tape drive (Model number: STU62001LW) is not
detected at the OS level. It is detected at the hardware level,
though. (i.e., boot messages) Certance support claims that there is a
pending certification on the tape drive. The Adaptec 29160 card is
detected just fine. (lspci | grep 29160="02:02.0 SCSI storage
controller: Adaptec AIC-7892A U160/m (rev 02)")

Is there anything I can do to help this process along?

Hmm... several reboots (and weeks) later... it does detect it.
