After express installing Debian 8 without setting a password for the user, I'm not able to login in the system. GDM doesn't seem to accept passwordless login.
Although, when switching to a VT I'm able to login.

We should either ensure the user can login in the installed system using GDM or make the password a required field.

Fixed by commit 05091691c3b7, which will be part of 0.3.1 release.
