So ping wombat from tty2 doesn't work? Yes, does not work from tty2. Is there anything different about the resolver here than when I began the HTTP install? There shouldn't be. And /etc/resolv.conf is still correct? Yes, and I am able to reproduce this easily. Did it work in the past? Jakub -- any ideas? I haven't had local lan domain names before, so I don't know. Still fails to resolve in FC3-3.1. New thought... is there any difference here where it does only forward resolve in one place, and forward+reverse resolve in another? Nothing I can think of. Is this still broken? Last tested in FC4test1 yes. Was it the case in FC4 final? Closing due to inactivity. |
