partition tables, before and after installation
If you have FC2 installed, can you install the current devel parted package (1.6.15) and see if it can print your partition tale? Yes, both versions of parted display the partition table okay on FC2. The FC2 version of parted displays this warning though: Warning: Unable to align partition properly. This probably means that another partitioning tool generated an incorrect partition table, because it didn't have the correct BIOS geometry. It is safe to ignore, but ignoring may cause (fixable) problems with some boot loaders. Okay, then this is fixed in rawhide and will be fixed in test3. |
