Description Andrew Dahms 2016-06-03 02:03:26 UTC
An OpenShift Integration Quick Start Guide must be created that outlines how to get up and working with an OpenShift provider to deliver metrics to OpenShift in as few steps as possible.

The major items required are as follows:

1. Configuration required in CloudForms
   * Configuring C&U
   * Configuring smart proxy
2. Configuration required in OSE
   * Configuring a service account
   * Configuring a service account token
   * ...
3. Adding OSE to CloudForms
   * Adding an OpenShift provider

The guide is to assume that we are working with an existing CloudForms installation and a default installation of OpenShift. Moreover, the guide should outline the shortest path to configuring these options, and does not need to contain information on configuration that is not covered or needed in this exact scenario.

By the end of the document, the user should be able to immediately see smart state details, and metrics should start to appear 15 min.

Notes -

When we cover the steps in 1., users may have already performed this configuration in their environment, but they may have not. We should tell users that the steps will enable various configuration options required to get metrics running, that they can skip to Step X. if they have already done them, or follow through to confirm that the settings are in place.
