Description Joachim Backes 2016-06-22 10:25:59 UTC
Description of problem:
I'm running gnome3 desktop, starting brasero inside a gnome-terminal: It takes about 40 (fourty!!) seconds until the brasero window appears on the screen! No message on the gnome-terminal why starting brasero takes such a long time. This effect is seen if I start brasero after a system reboot, or after a long period.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
brasero-3.12.1-4.fc24.x86_64

How reproducible:
almost always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Reboot
2.Start brasero in a gnome-terminal, or from the dash board.
3.

Actual results:
about 40 seconds until the window appears on the sreen

Expected results:
The brasero window appears almost immediately.

1. Until the brasero window appears, one CPU on my box is fully busy.
2. Starting brasero immediatiately after it ended, an additional start takes only about 1 sec.

Comment 2 Joachim Backes 2016-07-20 09:21:05 UTC
Runs for me after applying all F24 updates.
