Previously, administrator permissions were required to create a virtual machine from a template that included custom properties or dedicated hosts. This meant that users without administrator permissions were unable to create virtual machines from a template that included custom properties or dedicated hosts. Now, users without administrator permissions are able to create virtual machines from a template with custom properties or dedicated hosts, as long as the custom properties or dedicated hosts do not differ from those in the template.
