Description Hristo Mohamed 2016-06-27 14:40:00 UTC
Description of problem:
I am unable to install the fping package, on a machine pxe booting on NFSv3 ( 3.10.0-327.4.5.el7 ) . I suspect the RPM was created with specific filesystem system based capabilities not supported by NFSv3 and the RPM is unable to install without them. The same kernel on a locally installed machine with ext4 installs correctly.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.10-4.el7

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install fping

Actual results:

Error unpacking rpm package fping-3.10-4.el7.x86_64
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/sbin/fping: cpio: cap_set_file
Verifying : fping-3.10-4.el7.x86_64
Failed:
fping.x86_64 0:3.10-4.el7

Expected results:
Fping to install normally.
