Description of problem:

I get these messages:

kernel: [drm:intel_set_pch_fifo_underrun_reporting [i915]] *ERROR* uncleared pch fifo underrun on pch transcoder A

On several systems, two with:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller [8086:0166] (rev 09)

one with:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0416] (rev 06)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.10.0-327.22.2.el7.x86_64

See also bug #1289997, it appears it may have been fixed between 4.5.5-201.fc23.x86_64 and 4.5.6-200.fc23.x86_64.

Should be fixed with the 4.6 backport, devel ack.

After evaluating this issue, there are no plans to address it further or fix it in an upcoming release.  Therefore, it is being closed.  If plans change such that this issue will be fixed in an upcoming release, then the bug can be reopened.
