Description of problem:
The KDE 5 System Settings-Input Devices-Mouse-Advanced dialog has Pointer acceleration and Pointer threshold settings.  In previous versions of KDE, changing these would affect mouse response.

In KDE 5, the settings appear to be ignored.  Increasing acceleration to high values has no affect on mouse speed or response.  I am using a USB pointing device (older trackpoint keyboard through a ps2/usb adapter) that needs the increased acceleration to respond correctly.

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change mouse advanced settings.

Actual results:
Mouse response remains the same.

Expected results:
Mouse response should change.

Additional info:
This issue is not present in Fedora 22/KDE4.
