Description of problem:
When a FIND_NEXT2 request with Info Level 
SMB_FIND_FILE_FULL_DIRECTORY_INFO is passed to a server with the 
search pattern "..". The samba server returns a 0xc000003b 
STATUS_OBJECT_PATH_SYNTAX_BAD.  
It should return successfully with a SearchCount = 0.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Access a Linux/samba server with QNTC file system on IBM iSeries 
system (contact Vern Yetzer at 507-253-4006 for details)
2.Access a directory that doesn't contain any files or directorys
3.
    

Actual Results:  FIND_NEXT2 will fail with 
STATUS_OBJECT_PATH_SYNTAX_BAD

Expected Results:  FIND_NEXT2 returns successfully with a SearchCount 
= 0.

Have you filed this upstream at bugzilla.samba.org ? 
Also, have you tried the samba-3.0.7 rpms that are currently 
avaliable?

I will try running this against 3.0.7 and update with the results.
I have not filed this with bugzilla.samba.org.  Is that what I should 
be doing?

samba-3.0.7-1 works the same way as samba-3.0.6.1

This bug is filed against RHEL 3, which is in maintenance phase.
During the maintenance phase, only security errata and select mission
critical bug fixes will be released for enterprise products. Since
this bug does not meet that criteria, it is now being closed.
