Description of problem:
During CD install boot, the serial mouse was correctly detected. There
is a PS/2 keyboard attached, but the PS/2 mouse port is unused. When
the graphical installer runs it tries to use the PS/2 mouse. Moving
the serial mouse won't move the on-screen pointer. If I then plug in a
PS/2 mouse, I can use it to move the pointer around.
After installation, I can use the serial mouse just fine. It's only
during the install that the serial mouse -- though detected during
boot -- is ignored.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot/Install from CD with serial mouse attached, empty PS/2 mouse port
2. Select graphical install at prompt.
3.

Actual Results: Mouse pointer rooted firmly in center of screen when
moving the serial mouse around. Had to plug in a ps/2 mouse to get the
pointer to move.

Expected Results: The pointer should have moved about with the
detected serial mouse without having to attach a ps/2 mouse.

Serial mice aren't supported during install.
